Olympic Delivery Authority Sustainable Development Strategy

Prior to founding Disruptive Urbanism, Director Paula Hirst was employed by the Interim Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) from 2005-2007 as the Interim Head of Sustainable Development. In this role she led the development of the ODA’s policies, plans, management, monitoring, reporting and assurance systems for the delivery of the ‘2012 Promise’ to facilitate long term economic development and regeneration in East London. In a highly charged political environment, Paula successfully secured agreement from Ministers, the Mayor of London, industry bodies, consultants, contractors, and NGOs to the ODA's sustainable development approach, key targets, performance standards, and action plan.
